One month ago I was in my summer shorts and t shirts enjoying a warm sunny climate in Tenerife. I was not happy to leave, knowing that when we landed in London, the temperature would plummet, skies would be greyer and the evenings darker. If you know me even a little, you’ll be aware that warm and sunny is by far my happy place and the onset of winter does not fill me with joy!
In anticipation of this, I have planned some good things for the post-Christmas slump! Last year, this involved annual leave and a theatre trip but this time around, I’m arranging to explore some new restaurants and eat my way through the winter months!
I have recently reminded myself that back in early/mid February on a morning run with a friend, we found ourselves beginning to run in (just about) daylight at 7am! (Which is around 15 weeks away - I’ve counted!!)
All this to say, don’t forget the clocks change this weekend!

Meanwhile, with November just around the corner, we are heading towards Christmas rather rapidly. Which means that Christmas fairs and markets are coming our way.
I’m getting ready for the first Open House next weekend.
If you’re local to Eastleigh, Hampshire and interested in popping along any time between 10am and midday, it’d be great to see you. If you need more information, get in touch here.
