May is here and with it a few glimpses of some warmer weather amongst the rainy days!
We have a lovely woodland within a 15 minute walk from us and the bluebells are stunning each year. We took a walk last week and not only were we in awestruck by the vibrant blue spectacle before us but we were surrounded by a chorus of birdsong and woodpeckers hammering in the canopy above us. Then we spotted a couple of rutting stags in an open field with a few females observing from a distance.
It was a sumptuous way to breathe in the glory of creation.
It fed my soul.
And it set me on a good path for the rest of the week.
And what a week! With another bank holiday!
Did you enjoy the Coronation celebrations? Any favourite bits?
Locally, we had a celebration at our local park with the launch of a new splash pad, community stalls and yummy refreshments. And Poema was there!
I took heed of God’s reminder to be courageous and booked a slot for my gazebo, my jewellery and me! We braved the rain but when the leaky roof threatened to spoil my display after a few hours, we packed down and headed home. I was very glad to have been there though. Considering the weather, there were more people there than I imagined.
And in another moment of courage, I have decided to hold two open house events in the coming few weeks. So, if you’re local (south Hampshire) and would like a relaxed and informal opportunity to see the latest selection of handmade silver jewellery, I’d love to see you there! Browse and purchase in comfort with a cuppa and fresh baked goodies! The details can also be found on my Facebook page. Let me know if you’re thinking of coming - it’d be wonderful to see you.
In the meantime, enjoy the rest of the long weekend.
